Career criminals and best friends from an early age, Bebop and Rocksteady are the lowest form of scum the New York streets have to offer. Meeting as orphans, the two young villains rob and kill everyone who crosses their paths, and as the many years go by -- and never going to jail for a serious crime -- they became quite confident in their many unlawful talents. However, once they notice the influence that Hun and his boys have over the city, they decide to take advantage of the situation and join the club before they end up as targets. This is the beginning of the Purple Dragon gang, with Hun as the boss, and Bebop and Rocksteady as his most dangerous captains. Together, they recruit an army of murderers and thieves, establishing the most powerful street gang in New York history.
